Emma Rawlinson has been appointed into a newly created Markerstudy Group role, Chief Investment Officer, effective immediately.

Emma, who joined Markerstudy following the acquisition of Atlanta earlier this year, reports to Group CEO Kevin Spencer.

Kevin Spencer explained that in her new role, Emma will deal with capital raising, shareholder liaison and M&A, with the overall aim of utilising the Group’s investment capability to accelerate business growth.

Mr Spencer said: “Emma’s background in private equity, as well as her time as CEO and CFO of Atlanta, gives her exactly the right credentials for this challenging new role, and underlines the scale of our ambition for the Group.”

He added: “I have been hugely impressed by her strategic nous and financial acumen since we brought the two businesses together, and I am confident that, under our leadership, we will be in pole position to achieve our corporate objectives.”

Emma Rawlinson said: “The Group is at the threshold of an unprecedented phase of change and I am very excited to be leading our financial strategy.”

“The combined Markerstudy Group is already a dominant force in UK personal lines but there is headroom for further growth and I’m looking forward to working with Kevin and our investors to bring our ambitious plans to fruition.”
