Markerstudy Group today announces the completion of its purchase of Hughes Insurance. Boasting expertise across the motor, home, van, travel and commercial insurance sectors, Hughes’ 85,000 customers have joined Markerstudy’s Distribution division, led by Ian Donaldson.
Emma Rawlinson has been appointed into a newly created Markerstudy Group role, Chief Investment Officer, effective immediately.
In a single day in July, over 60 volunteers from Markerstudy created more than 10,000 items for memory boxes for 4Louis, a Sunderland-based charity which supports people affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child.
Markerstudy Group has announced plans to acquire Hughes Insurance, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. With the brokers’ strong presence in Northern Ireland, the move is a sign of Markerstudy’s commitment to the region.
